Terms of Service

Maybole (the “service”, also referred to as “WSMM”) is operated by Maybole Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“Maybole”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Maybole helps university students find and contact finance professionals for career networking. We provide a searchable contact directory, AI-assisted email drafting, and tools to move those drafts into your own email account. Maybole is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any university or career center.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Maybole. You must provide accurate information. A.edu address, if used, only helps confirm student status and creates no tie to your school. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and your draft-feed token confidential. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use & professional conduct

You agree not to:

• use Maybole for anything unlawful, harassing, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing;
• upload malware or attempt to breach, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in outreach;
• scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from Maybole, or access contact data you have not unlocked;
• send content in prohibited categories (e.g. gambling, adult content, weapons, drugs, securities or “get-rich-quick” schemes, political campaigning).

You agree to follow basic professional-networking ethics in your outreach to the professionals in our directory.

4. Your outreach is your responsibility — you are the sender

Maybole lets you draft emails and send them from your own email account (e.g. Gmail or Outlook) using self-run tools. You — not Maybole — are the legal sender of every message. We are a tool provider; we do not send your outreach for you. You agree that:

• Legal compliance. You will comply with all laws applicable to your outreach, including anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, and obtain any consent or provide any notice they require.
• Truthful, opt-out-respecting messages. Your messages must use truthful headers and non-deceptive subject lines, identify you, and honor any request to stop. Do not keep emailing someone who has asked you to stop.
• Your mailbox provider’s rules. Running our tools on your own account is subject to Google’s and Microsoft’s terms, which can rate-limit or suspend accounts that send unsolicited bulk mail.
• Sender-reputation risk is yours. Sending cold outreach from your own (often personal or university) mailbox can harm your sender reputation, route mail to spam, or cause your provider/school to throttle or suspend your account. You assume this risk. We recommend low, gradually ramped volume.
• Use of unlocked contacts. Use contacts you unlock only for your own personal, professional networking — not for bulk marketing, consumer solicitation, resale, or redistribution.

5. The contact directory — license and limits

Contacts you unlock are provided under a limited, personal, non-transferable license for your own networking use. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, bulk-export, or redistribute directory data, or use it to build a competing database. We may revoke access to data that an underlying individual asks us to withdraw.

6. Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of what you upload (résumé, contacts, drafts). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you (for example, sending your résumé text to our AI provider to generate drafts). We own the Maybole platform, software, and the contact directory, and all related intellectual property. Once a professional you contact receives your message, they may retain or forward it, and we are not responsible for that downstream use.

7. Billing

• Maybole offers paid subscription plans and one-time email credits. Prices are shown at checkout (currently Starter $9, Core $25, and All-in $45 per month).
• Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically for successive billing periods. You may change your plan at any time; a plan change takes effect at the start of your next billing period, with no proration or mid-cycle charge.
• Each plan includes a number of emails per billing period; one-time-credit users are blocked once their credit is spent.
• Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, including for the current period, except where a refund is required by law.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.
• Termination of automatic renewal. A subscriber may elect to discontinue automatic renewal, subject to the notice, verification, and procedural requirements described in the applicable billing-lifecycle materials. Discontinuation, once completed, prevents future renewals only; it does not terminate the current paid period or entitle the subscriber to any refund of amounts already charged.

8. Disclaimers — data accuracy and results

Maybole and all data, including contact details and AI-generated drafts, are provided “as is” and “as available.” Contact data may be inaccurate, outdated, or undeliverable, and AI drafts may contain errors. We do not warrant accuracy, deliverability, replies, interviews, or any career outcome. Review everything before sending.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maybole is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit/lost-data damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold Maybole harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your outreach, your content, or your breach of these Terms — including any claim that your outreach violated anti-spam, privacy, or provider rules.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access — including disabling your draft-feed token — for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, spam, fraud, or non-payment. You may stop using Maybole at any time and can delete your account and data yourself from the Account page. Your mailbox provider may independently suspend your account.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.

13. General

• Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them (e.g. in a merger or acquisition).
• Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• Notices: we may give you notice by email or in-product.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Survival: Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify registered users. Continued use means acceptance.
